Match Report Press Report

Avenue 1 Lost to Winchester 4 in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 5 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Stuart Parfett, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 1 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 54 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Stuart Parfett.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 5 string, , gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 5 string, , who over-turned a 396 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
