Match Report Press Report

Avenue 2 Lost to Wykeham 4.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 4 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 2 string should have been the closest, with only 13 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Arif Faizi, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 3 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 70 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Russell Brandon.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 3 string, Russell Brandon, gaining 70 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 3 string, Russell Brandon, who over-turned a 208 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
