Match Report Press Report

Avenue Vets 1 Lost to Nuffield Health Vets 2 in a one-sided match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 21 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Karl Young, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 44 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Steve Ralphs.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 2 string, Steve Ralphs, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 2 string, Steve Ralphs, who over-turned a 580 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
