Match Report Press Report

Chichester 3 Lost to Nuffield Health 1 in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 4 string should have been the closest, with only 16 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, , did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 3 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 59 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Paul Wykes.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 5 string, , gaining 1855 Ranking Points from the match.

If the Away No. 1 player, Steve Spurling, had not had to withdraw after 2 game(s) the result could have been closer.
